Gigahub is proud to be the first organisation in Malaysia to initiate and pioneering First Defense Asset Exchange/Barter Trade in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence of Malaysia (MOD).
This groundbreaking initiative is designed to support the government’s long-term goal of optimising defense expenditure while introducing modern technologies that enhance operational readiness and national security.
Our primary objectives are :
- To reduce government spending through strategic Asset Exchanges/Barter Trade.
- To reduce government spending through strategic asset exchanges, allowing surplus defense assets to be converted into higher-value, mission-relevant capabilities.
- Successfully secured government support and strategically prioritised goods and services through a combination of exchange and purchase to ensure high-quality acquisition.
- Contributed to reducing Ministry of Defence (MOD) logistics costs.
- To facilitate the introduction of advanced defense technologies, replacing aging weapons and defense assets with cutting-edge solutions in alignment with the evolving operational requirements set by the Ministry of Defence.
